I'm not sure how long it will take, but both Ahmadinejad and Khamenei's days are numbered. The unrest isn't going to stop until they're both exiled or dead. If they deliver their promised crackdown on the protesters, others (their families, friends, neighbors) will come out in droves demanding justice. For every Neda - and there have already been quite a few - hundreds more people are infuriated with the regime.
I have no doubt this is a revolution, and that the regime is going down. The only question is how much more blood will have to flow before it's over.

I was torn between the second and third choice but decided to consult the optimist in me and proudly clicked on "full blown revolution." I just see so much passion and I think some important people in Iran are truly torn and disgusted by the obvious voter fraud, the media manipulation, and violence/killing against the people of Iran (just for gathering to peacefully protest.) The current regime may have burned one too many bridges and I keep hoping there is a silent/secret take-over in the works.
I was leaning toward #2, but I read Kelly's comment about being optomistic and it pushed me over. Personally I think these people know it will not be easy but they are committed to it, because they know their freedom is long overdue.

I just heard someone say this will be more of a marathon than a sprint to freedom. Yes, this may take time, but I am still confident in the end result.

I too was torn between 2 & 3, but with some evidence that the religious council has members that are not happy with the current regime, and the response to the protests give me some hope.

Missy, you are seriously off topic here...this thread is about the civil unrest in Iran. If you have any thoughts, please share them.
BTW, how impressive that you are so powerful....you can make sure ANY Republican Senator that doesn't vote the way you want them to will be removed. WOW. But be careful Missy...if they lose their seat, it may go to a Democrat.
