WTF FILE #2

By lephead - Posted on 15 June 2009

Okay, I stumbled across this clip from Media Matters, where Hannity states that Limbaugh didn't make fun of Michael J. Fox'es illness.

Definitely WTF #2

http://mediamatters.org/mmtv/200906150009

Sucks for Hannity that this whole internet thing exists with videos of him and Limbaugh all over the place for years with their heads up theirs and each others a--es...

A comment from Media Matters:

"Sean knows we can see him, right?"

Another comment and response:

 -by o rly

"Hannity has the mind of a small, willful child. He is completely divorced from reality."

 ---by Easy to refute wingnuts

"Hannity has the mind of a small, willful child"

"I believe he keeps it in a jar on a shelf under his desk."

ANd here are couple more WTF's from think progress. The GOP needs to grow up.

Here and Here.

Disgusting, made even worse by her just being sorry she sent it to the wrong people. F#$%ing ridiculous. Yes, we've moved past race in this nation...

Racist and obstructionist....Now isn't my party something to be proud of...*gag*

As hateful as the first one is, the second is actually damaging what the administration can do.  This needs to be made public and talked about every time a Dem is on tv, or near one.

Sherri Goforth is a liberal? I mean, according to Beck et el…
These two moments of thoughtless idiocy certainly qualify for WTF #3 and WTF #4.  The icing on the cake is that a professional office staffer hit the "wrong" send button, and is only sorry about who received it.

Time for WTF #5:

Good 'ole Richland County in Columbia, South Carolina, center of the wingnut universe in the news again.

General Sherman went in there during the Civil War and burned the sh** out of it. This ineffective nutjob couldn't engineer this kind of media attention if his life depended on it.

Sherman's "march to the sea" was a shameful and unnecessary chapter in the Civil War.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you there, Suzi.

And, as a Southerner, don't you mean "The War of Northern Agression"? :D

Now, the burning of Atlanta was a shameful and unnecessary chapter in the Civil War.

"Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so." -- Douglas Adams

The burning of Atlata was the beginning of a lot of burning and destruction left in Sherman's wake in that war of northern aggression, Tin.

From Sherman's written orders, which were interpreted quite liberally by his men:

... IV. The army will forage liberally on the country during the march. To this end, each brigade commander will organize a good and sufficient foraging party, under the command of one or more discreet officers, who will gather, near the route traveled, corn or forage of any kind, meat of any kind, vegetables, corn-meal, or whatever is needed by the command, aiming at all times to keep in the wagons at least ten day's provisions for the command and three days' forage. Soldiers must not enter the dwellings of the inhabitants, or commit any trespass, but during a halt or a camp they may be permitted to gather turnips, potatoes, and other vegetables, and to drive in stock of their camp. To regular foraging parties must be instructed the gathering of provisions and forage at any distance from the road traveled.

V. To army corps commanders alone is entrusted the power to destroy mills, houses, cotton-gins, &c., and for them this general principle is laid down: In districts and neighborhoods where the army is unmolested no destruction of such property should be permitted; but should guerrillas or bushwhackers molest our march, or should the inhabitants burn bridges, obstruct roads, or otherwise manifest local hostility, then army commanders should order and enforce a devastation more or less relentless according to the measure of such hostility.

WTF? I know it would be "unpresidential", but I'd love to see Obama roll up his sleeves and defend Michelle's honor!

I myself, did not realize things had gotten this bad in the GOP.

I am not sure this party can be saved!

WC, people have no self-edit function and then when taken to task for  insensitive remarks the real issue is quickly changed...in this instance Michelle said it first saying we were all descended from apes; so she started it or as the commenter said people issue the "if I offended anyone" apology. A sign of being totally clueless.

It's just really pathetic; people think all forms of decorum evaporate when it comes to politics. It makes you wonder how any of them get elected.

the "if I offended anyone" apology

That's so they can respond to "AHA! So you admit wrongdoing!" lawsuits with "No we didn't."

It's sad that we've reached a point where 'government service' is a dirty word... If we're the greatest country on earth, maybe we can have the greatest government.

wcolin,

As long as the majority of the base refuses to condemn outrageous and offensive behaviour on the part of their elected leaders regardless of whether their victims are Dems, minorities, liberals (ooh, liberals), or not.... they can not be saved.    Their moral indignations are reserved for ultra right Republicans only.

I would love for Golf and Suzi and a few others to feel free to discuss their views as Republicans for Obama on my Facebook page so that I can share with my conservative friends who view everything that Obama is doing as wrong and bad, no matter what.  Hopefully, if they see some fellow Republicans intelligently discussing the merits of our wonderful President they will stop and think.  I think they are just so brainwashed that they will never change, but I have to try to plant some seeds of independent thinking, no matter the odds.

I would love to do that, Maggie.  Do you want to post your Facebook page here, or email me?

here's mine, please post I have a very conservative friend who listens to limbut.

Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, guess who is a friend on my facebook? Ncwoman. I found her on there about a month ago.

I sent you 2 messages on Twitter with my info if you can't get in.

I guess I just don't understand this, because Michelle Obama has continued the tradition of First Lady's who use their position to help better society and not advance a political agenda.  She doesn't deserve this.  And I think this insincere apology needs to be know.

Definitely WTF #5.

Ladies and gentleman, I give you WTF # 6....

Who's surprised that this was a Republican?

I also might have some good guesses as to where any portion of his political campaign funds come....

What an asswipe!

I guess mankind just went backwards  a couple of million years on the evolutionary scale. Oh, I forgot, Darwin was full of s**t!

LOL, Obama smokes and I'm sure even he would even vehemently disagree with that...

Speaking of which has he said anything about trying to quit during his term? No big deal if he wants to, just worried for his health for him and his daughters.

Hannity and Rush: tweedle dee and tweedledumb

I will not throw the first punch but I wil certainly throw the last.....President Barack Obama.

The chairman of Tennessee's Democratic Party wants a Republican legislative aide fired for sending out a "reprehensible" e-mail depicting President Obama as two cartoonish white eyes peering from a black background. Sherri Goforth, an administrative assistant to state Sen. Diane Black, R-Gallatin, has admitted she sent the e-mail May 28 with the title "Historical Keepsake Photo." She said, without elaborating, that she mistakenly sent it "to the wrong list of people."

--------

The Republican parties of TN and SC have a contest going on to see which one can be the sleaziest.

Hello Misty :  I think this is a follow-up to WTF #4.  There's always plenty of forehead slapping to go around on all of these moments of delusion.

I bring you the WTF # 7 moment:

Student denied deploma for blowing a kiss?

http://buzz.yahoo.com/buzzlog/92681?fp=1

Fake Magus: Didn't those silly parents know that blowing kisses leads to pregnant teens?

Oh, wait, it was a boy.

Well, don't those idiots know that boys blowing kisses makes them gay?

LOL of all the words to get wrong without thinking, diploma might be one. I do have one by the way. lol ( :

You're right though Magus, nothing good comes from affection......................

Now, now, Mr. Convenient Crash-Test Dummy aka Fake Magus, you know perfectly well that the denial of diploma was due to a superintendent on a short fuse and power trip.
