www.270towin.com

By bushsucks - Posted on 14 February 2009

A cool, fun interactive electoral map where you can mess around, play with an interactive Senate map, and look at historical results(BTW, it shows Washington as being Fedralist, even though Wikipedia says he had no political party. Why?)Sadly, I can't post the link, but all you need to do is type in www.270towin.com in your search bar, and it'll be the first thing that comes up. Post your thughts on it after you've screwed arond a bit.
Do you know of a map that shows the whole country in red and blue individual counties won?? Thought that would be interesting also.
Yes, I do. It's msnbc.com's.
After I got done screwing with that map it turns out this whole election was screwed up, Mccain actually won is what I see.
WTH are you talking about!?!? The electoral votes have been officially counted, and it's Obama 365, and Mccain 173. Unless you're mentally ill, I have NO IDEA what you're talking about.
I'm telling you, after I got done screwing with the map McCain won all 50 states and out electorated Obama 538-0. I have tried to post what I am seeing but can't.
OK, maybe you just clicked the "All Republican" view as your starting view(which would give all of the states to McCain), but I still don't know what you're talking about.

Hi bushsucks...and welcome to RFO.  I think I need to explain here...Blakey is our resident troll, McCain supporter and comedian.  We love him to death, and hope to convert him one day.  He is just joking around with you, pretending that the old guy won.

Sorry for the confusion, but I have to admit that reading the exchange between the two of you had me really laughing out loud!!  ;-)

Well the conversion part I don't think you should hold your breath on. Unless I have a brain transplant from a peacock I will remain as am.     "NO OFFENSE"
No offense taken....BUT...the next time a newcomer thinks you already have a peacock sized brain I'm going to let them think it!  HA!!  And that's the thanks I get for taking up for you...humph!!!  ;-)
Sorry I wasn't even sure bushsucks was a newcomer, maybe it from hearing that on hear so much.  Maybe in 4 years I will have all of you conversed to my way of thinking. Imagine that!!
Well, you don't hold your breath Blakey, we don't want to lose you now or in four years. I intend on dancing and singing nah-nah-nah-nah-nah :-)
Been there, done that!  (your way of thinking, that is).  Got over it, thank God.  lol
Ohhhhhhhh, now I understand. Thanks,
Suzi!
You're more than welcome.  Glad to have you aboard!

Welcome Bushsucks.

Boy! I like typing that.

Yes.

YAY BUSH IS GONE!

Any chart that shows Shannon County SD and Washington DC voting Republican probably had Diebold election system voting machines.
Well, I couldn't get the map to do anything. Don't know if it's because I'm using a Mac, but no matter where I clicked, nada - nothing!

Blake you need to stop screwing around with people's head.....lol

I will not throw the first punch but I wil certainly throw the last.....President Barack Obama.

LOL! People's heads or Blakeys?

This is a cool site...now I can't walk away from it....i keep playing with the electoral votes...i turned everything blue...

BTW Bushsucks is a great screen name.

I will not throw the first punch but I wil certainly throw the last.....President Barack Obama.

That is a cool sight, thanks
Blakey, what you create is not the actual result. It's just your creation.
I'd be all for giving  Blakey the power of real creation.
Over ruled...;-)

Oh gawwwed.  That's all we need!  Blakey spawning more trolls!!!  and Brandon approving of them!!!

LOL

*facepalm* I can't BELIEVE how stupid I was.. Blakey was OBVIOUSLY lying from the start, because Mccain could NEVER win states like New York, which are heavily Democratic. And before you throw 1984 at me, Reagan was VERY POPULAR. 1984 would greater evidence if it wasn't a landslide by a very popular president. Anyway, I'm a complete idiot now.
ROFLMAO....No, not an idiot.  You'll get used to Blakey.  He's got a great sense of humor...after all, he voted for McCain.  He also has a crush on Sarah Palin, but we need to break you in slowly.  lol
Still, I'm stupid for thinking that Blakey was telling the truth.BTW, the thing where you have to answer a math problem before you can post is annoying.

I know the "captcha" is annoying, but it helps keep the automated spammers at bay. You'll get used to it, and the answer is never more than 20, so you can use your fingers and toes. ;-)   The math beats the hard to read crazy letters that some sites require you to type in.

Automated spammers?

MOAR INFO PLZ

Our easy "captcha" kills "computer generated spammers".
I hate to burst the staff's bubble, but it's an incredibly trivial CAPTCHA. If I wrote a script to defeat it, all I would do is extract the text of the math expression and evaluate it-- practically every programming language is able to do this with minimal effort. The only reason the CAPTCHA gives the illusion of protection is because this site doesn't have many targets, nor does it have sensitive data. I suppose some politically-motivated spammers can break the CAPTCHA, but most spammers won't even try it-- not worth their time.

That said, it's a good step towards a CAPTCHA unlike "write this word". Most of them revolve around trying to get a human to duplicate something on the screen while trying to get a machine to not do the same-- that's an even more of a loser's game.

My bigger beef with the CAPTCHA isn't that it's easy-- it's that there are only 20 possible answers, so a bot trying to spam by random guessing only needs to be tweaked to guess a number between 1 and 20.

It's sad that we've reached a point where 'government service' is a dirty word... If we're the greatest country on earth, maybe we can have the greatest government.

Lewis Black

Yea, we know that.  But not too many automated spammers bother with us...except the payday loans creeps.

bushshucks, I got me a chart with all them there number conversions from 1-20, heck I don't even have to refer to it as much as I use ta did. So if you stick to it this site will help with your math skills, "Hooked on RFO worked for me"

Oh?

Let's see it, Blakey.

O_O

That's... a lot.

I almost got these mastered, if Suzi ever decides to up the complications of the problems, like 22+30 I am going to be ready.
