Anyone is free, of course, to pray for anyone you wish, along with a prayer for the Obama administration. To help everyone with the actions of the RFO administration concerning this matter, I am copying and pasting my message from the prayer thread here:
Due to this announcement, as posted by the RFO administration, we will need to make an alteration in the public post of prayers and meditations:
<In an effort to respect the privacy of the family during this time, the admin has decided to remove the tributes and discussions pertaining to our former member.
Thank you all for your understanding during this trying time>
We should go ahead with our plans for a prayer this Friday, focusing on, as Hope said, " a positive outcome for Obama's Presidency, and hope that people who are negative will see the light", as this was the original purpose of the gathering.
Let us also use this opportunity to pray for all those who have fought and suffered for our country during these and other wars, serving with honor and dignity.

Aloha!
Prayers for the President-Elect and his family. Wisdom for him and guidance for his administration.
Yes America Can! Yes America Did!
I could feel the warmth of the unified prayers and good thoughts. I prayed for Obama and his presidency..for wisdom as he leads us, and for God to touch his heart, mind, body and soul. And for his safety and for his family.
I also prayed for all who have served our nation and their families, and for God to touch the hearts of those who hate. And I prayed for the well being of all here and their families.
God bless you all.
I lit a white candle, and it is still burning. I feel a real peace right now. Does anyone else?
You know, I was also able to let go of a lot of my anger at the current administration, knowing that in another world or life, if not this one, justice will somehow be served. That doesn't lessen my disapproval, it just eases my heart.
Tonight I prayed for unity and collective courage as we face the challenges ahead. I pray for every soldier and their families. I pray for our servicemen and women who have suffered injury, face mental health issues and those who have sacrificed their lives. I pray that God protects President Obama and his family and guides his every decision, no matter how difficult.
On a positive, I also give thanks for the plane/Hudson River miracle, the bravery and human spirit that radiated brightly and saved so many lives. Those moments remind me of how precious life is and remind me to hug my son and daughter a little tighter.
