I'll copy and paste my last post to start this new one.
i'm going to abide by Suzi's wishes, Blakey as the page is running away. In my camp for kids, I would try to make a few around the country so that I can employ some people. Andi would be generous w/ benefits(healthcare fully paid for, lots of vacation, you get the jist. We would have to have something to make income, maybe having a craft class made by the employee's if they have a talent to sell and teach a class. Also the kids could make stuff too. Have a huge garden to sell plants & veggies to sell. That would teach the kids how to grow their own food. Stuff like that. You want to be my employee if I ever strike it rich?

Be back at 7:30-8 p.m and I hope in a good mood. Steelers vs Chargers, everyone out there be cheering for the Steelers!!!!!! So far not good for teams with a bye week.

I would also build a new house on some land. I would love to have water, a stream or pond on the land w/some woods. The house would be totally Green(as green as I could get it. Have you ever watched Green Homes on the new green channel? Pretty neat houses. Not too big as I have no children but comfortable. I would want to power it using wind, solar and whatever else is out there. For the interior and exterior, I would use all recycled materials.
The only extravagance I would do is travel a few times a year and have a massage therapist come to my house a few times a week. (not just for luxury, remember I have chronic pain).

I would do as Bill and Melinda Gates have done - set up a foundation and hire a few good folk to dole out the money to where is it most needed. Of course I would make sure that it is not only *humans* that would benefit, having a few big soft spot for the furries out there.
Education and research would be the cornerstones. The money donated out to groups or individuals would not be handouts so to speak. It would have to be earned in some fashion whether it is aintaining a certain grade level, or performing a number of hours in community service, or whatever else that would instill a sense of responsibility and commitment to the community around the group/individual. I would hope that the grants would have a type of pay it forward aspect and essentially 'earned.
