In Ohio today -- McCain: "Joe's with us today. Joe, where are you? Where is Joe? Is Joe here with us today?"

Joe's getting a book deal and a music contract. He doesn't need McCain anymore?
Obama/Biden 2008

Made my morning. The laughs just keep coming.
Obama/Biden 2008
Cindy looks a little chilly.
Obama/Biden 2008
Now that's just mean!
But funny. :D
The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, & wiser people so full of doubts.

Working title for a McCain honkytonk heartbreak song
"He got the gold mine and I got the shaft"
Obama/Biden 2008
NOOOOOO..... I really wanted him to stay lost.
The problems we face will not be solved by the minds that created them.
They know this looks dumb, not because they are plain stupid, but this time we the people are smart!
Obama/Biden 2008
If JTP wasn't a MeFirst NeoCon that'll amount to a fair prediction. Since BSing his way from delusional unlicensed plumber into potental sitcom star/CW singer/reality show contestant Obama's platform doesn't serve his bellybutton.
The much maligned Paris Hilton demonstrates more concern about the middle class than JTP. And this pop culture icon was born into wealth!
Speaking of PH, I heard JTP and she were going to hook up. Marrying a rich gal worked for McCain, so JTP fiugred he'd give it a shot.
(I so love trying to start rumors.)
They bus in school kids to pump up his numbers. MSNBC reports that two-thirds of the crowd were bused in school students:
"A local school district official confirmed after the event that of the 6,000 people estimated by the fire marshal to be in attendance this morning, more than 4,000 were bused in from schools in the area. The entire 2,500-student Defiance School District was in attendance, the official said, in addition to at least three other schools from neighboring districts, one of which sent 14 buses."

I was just reading that article. Does that man (McCain) have no shame?? I wouldn't be happy if my son was bussed to a McCain rally. But, knowing my son, when they told him where they were going... he would probably have said, "Thanks, but no thanks." LOL!!!
"I SO voted for Barack Obama! 10/25/08"
LOL!!! I can just hear McCain after he gets to the bus, "WHERE THE #$%& WAS JOE THE PLUMBER?! THAT'S IT, he's off the payroll!!"
I feel embarrassed for McCain, can't help it.
What a horrible moment. It seems nothing can go right for him in this campaign.
After a while it stopped being funny to me and now is just sad. Look at what it's come to.
*sigh*
I feel embarrassed for McCain, can't help it.
I'll say that when the Obama has officially won the election. For now, he does not get much sympathy from me.
You read my mind.
Obama/Biden 2008
McCain forgot to call his agent first.....
John McCain has decided that he can't beat our ideas so he decided to just make up some ideas and run against those!
~Barack Obama
He doesn't need McCain anymore?
He's learning from Palin!
In the interest of political expediency Senator McCain, the presidental hopeful, at first distances himself from Bush, then resorts to launching direct attacks on the sitting Republican president.
In the interest of political expediency Governor Palin, the VP running mate turned 2012 presidental hopeful, at first distances herself from Senator McCain then unhesitantly launching direct attacks upon her running mate.
What next???
In the interest of political expediency Joe the Plumber, turned Joe the NeoCon pop culture icon, turned Joe the 2012 presidental hopeful, at first distances...?
Catering to the lowest common denominator doesn't do a thing for quality, but when the objective is winning ratings sweps or moving the electorate quality barely factors in at all. Once concepts such as standards and integrity are removed from the equation the moral delimmas of which you speak no longer applies.

Roger Eugene Ailes (born May 15, 1940) president of Fox News Channel and chairman of the Fox Television Stations Group.
He was a media consultant for Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H. W. Bush, as well as Rudy Giuliani’s first mayoral campaign in 1989.[3]
..1967, that he had a spirited discussion about television in politics with one of the show's guests, Richard Nixon, who took the view that television was a gimmick. Later, Nixon called on Ailes to serve as his executive producer of TV. Nixon's election victory was only Ailes' first venture into the political spotlight.
served as a political consultant for many Republican candidates during the 1960s, 70s and 80s. His first such job was as media advisor for the Nixon campaign in 1968. He returned to presidential campaigning as a consultant to Ronald Reagan in 1984. He is widely credited with having coached Reagan to victory in the second presidential debate with Walter Mondale. In 1988 Ailes was credited (along with Lee Atwater) with guiding George H. W. Bush to a come-from-behind [11] victory over Michael Dukakis. Ailes and Lee Atwater scripted and produced the "Revolving Door" ad. He did not produce the Willie Horton ad, which was directed and produced by the National Security Political Action Committee (NSPAC), but Democrats later charged the Bush campaign with illegally coordinating the ads with the NSPAC. The Federal Election Commission (FEC) investigated the charge and deadlocked on a 3-3 vote, clearing Ailes and the campaign of legal problems.[12]
Besides, after buying up and ripping apart ESPN founder Roger Werner's much hearlded Speedvision to transform the station into an eye-glaring, loud NASCAR infomercial channel, transforming the news into a PR channel for longtime political allies is a logical move.
Opps, once again I've meddled with the primal forces of na-ture...
Paul Provenza nailed it on WAIT WAIT DON'T TELL ME...
"He's a plumber...he said he would be there some time between 9 and 3."
I might as well have a little fun while waiting for election results.
