What is Huckabee doing?

By Barbara Gordon - Posted on 12 February 2008

Why is Huckabee still around?

Doesn't he know Mitt that pulled out, made a martyr of himself even, for the sake of God, Country, and the GOP?? So what does that make Huckabee, who is now challenging the outcome of the state of Washington?

Does anyone here think Huck can win anymore states? If so, how many?

I am not totally sure why he's still in it, but it does still force the media to focus on the Republican's too, and not just watch Sen.Obama and Mrs Bill Clinton. I saw him in Iowa and he really is entertaining. He continues to generate votes, too, which is probably why he's still moving forward. Romney dropped out because of money. Saying he got out so terrorists wouldn't win was pathetic. But Romney wanted to stop the bleeding of his campaign and ready himself for the next run. That's why Al Gore would have gotten slaughtered if he ran this year, too, because people remember LOSERS, even if Al redememed himself, he still lost. Romney can spin this run for President in many different ways. I saw him as "buying" the election and was so pleased we all were not fooled!

I think Huckabee will not drop out and the longer he stays the better for Obama, too!

My Q is what happened to Ron Paul? What is he doing?

Romney got out to save his pride. He did a great job of pretending it was for God and Country, though. Man, that was one candidate I did not like. Didn't trust him as far as I could throw him. (And trust me, that's not very far.)

Ron Paul is still campaigning away. I don't know if he'll run on the Libertarian ticket. He's talking about turning this start into some kind of long term revolution against the system. He also has to focus on retaining his Congressional seat in the 14th district.

Huckabee now says he's staying in because every state deserves to have a choice on the ballot - not just one name listed. He also says that even though it's mathematically impossible for him to win, that you never know what will happen because he "majored in miracles, not math."
