New Barack Obama Book
I just saw on Amazon that Barack Obama has another book coming out, one with texts of his major speeches, pictures from the campaign, and what he hopes to accomplish while in office. Looks pretty good, and the timing is good (released early September). I just pre-ordered it. If this link doesn't post right, the title is "Change We Can Believe In: Barack Obama's Plan to Renew America's Promise."
Thought I would share it with you guys.

I've already filled out my response to get the message. I just love how Obama appears to really believe in the American people, and that his campaign is of and about us.
Did I tell y'all that I got a postcard? It didn't even ask for money. ;-)
Honestly Izzy, I don't know which million dollar donation it was that tilted the odds in my favor. ;-0
Honestly, I assumed everyone was getting them, and after you posted this, I tried to figure it out. All I can come up with is this happening:
I got a call from the Obama phone bank, discussing the race and asking for a donation, as I was on their donors list. As funds were kinda tight, and I had made a fairly recent donation, I declined, and told them I would make my donation on-line, as usual, at a later date. Well, after I hung up, I got to thinking about how important it was, and how a small donation wouldn't have made a difference in my life. So, using my caller ID, I returned the call to make the donation. I got the nicest young man on the phone, and as Obama supporters are want to do, we got to talking about Obama and the election. I told him that I was a Republican, and about RFO. He was amazed, and asked several questions. The last thing he said, after we said our good-byes, was "Republicans for Obama. Amazing". So maybe I have RFO to thank for my postcard, or just the fact that I am a Republican who is donating to the campaigh. I dunno.
I guess you don't want to hear about the snail mail I got yesterday, huh? Actually, it was similar to the emails, talking about the campaign, and asking for a donation. ;-) Obama loves me!! ;-)
There are two main people that are rather outspoken that I'd rather not see much of during this campaign. One is Bill Clinton-you just never know what will escape from his mouth. The other is Rev. Wright who chose the end of the heated primary battle to make controversial remarks and claim Obama was just being a "politician." I just heard that Rev. Wirhgt has his own book coming out in October and will be doing a book tour. Great timing. I'm sure the anti-Obama Republicans set up a sweet deal for him. I know he is a respected man in his church, but don't you think he'd get some slack for this? I pray it is low-key and not overblown but does he do anything low key? And the media will happily ignore real issues to cover this, I'm sure.
This link is from Hannity's blog
Good news-it looks like that was just a rumor. Wright's daughter says there is NO BOOK. I hope this is really the case!

The fact that it comes from Sean Hannity's blog makes the authenticity of the story suspect enough in my mind. As well as the timing of the whole story.
Three of these books are in the top 20 amazon.com best seller list:
Jerome Corsi's "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality,"
Fredosso's "The Case Against Barack Obama: The Unlikely Rise and Unexamined Agenda of the Media's Favorite Candidate"
Dick Morris' "Fleeced: How Barack Obama, Media Mockery of Terrorist Threats, Liberals Who Want to Kill Talk Radio, the Do-Nothing Congress, Companies That Help Iran, and Washington Lobbyists for Foreign Governments Are Scamming Us ... and What to Do About It."
Irrelevant. The only people who buy this type of paranoid yellow journalism are paranoid to begin with and wouldn't have voted for Obama in the first place. To their detriment, they just sound crazy when they relay "facts" from such books.
But keep grasping at straws. It's enjoyable to watch.
