OMG!!!--- I  Love this video!!

I am so proud of this video; it really shores up his accomplishments!! --- I don’t have the link right now, but I reviewed an interview that “Jake Tapper” (a Journalist) did with the head RNC (Reince Priebus); he talked with him regarding their strategy for the 2012 election campaign. Priebus talked about the “War Room” which entails a 24 hour fixation by their staff on every Obama’s moves and comments. They are told to surf the web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for any video, print or comments that are made by Obama on the web, Facebook or twitter, so they can supply an instant response within seconds.

Priebus admitted that he thinks President Obama likes to listen to himself talk; so they are looking for any mishap, FALSE accusation or misleading information so they can attack President Obama. They literally sit down and gather thousands of comments from President Obama; thus, they can find contradictions or errors. Their goal is to take every word out of context and attack him with it. Also, they are looking for any imperfection to drum up and make bigger than necessary. Furthermore, Priebus commented that their strategy is to attack President Obama on his divisiveness regarding Race, Gender and Class and reinforce that message by reiterating that President Obama failed to fulfill his campaign promises!! --- Their objective is to portray president Obama as an incompetent and destructive leader.

I hear the GOP and right wing railing that President Obama has nothing to demonstrate on the economy. Are you kidding me?? How did 3 + million jobs happen?? How did the Auto industry flourish?? How did millions of foreclosure slowed immensely?? Aren’t these indicators of the public’s confidence in the economy??  Americans are back purchasing and increasing the demand for services which feeds into the economy right??! ---If the public did not have confidence in the economy, spending would be WAYYY down!!   When the GOP speaks about the economy, they are specifically focused on “jobs”; they completely omit other factors that relate to the economy.  They certainly want to take all of President Obama’s positive traits and turn it into a negative ---Example; if he talks about Osama bin laden then they will accuse him of taking a serious issue and politicizing it. They will continue to blame him for spending tax payers money on campaigning thru airforce One and neglecting his duties as president. At least President Obama can take credit for 95% of the upside to the economy (at least the GOP with much public demand) extended the payroll tax and unemployment benefits.

This will be the first time in history that a President single handedly lifted Americans out of a terrible recession!! – The GOP will scare Americans regarding the constant spending and Large debt that President Obama is accumulating; when in fact, austerity has proven to not really work during a recession. Look at what is happening in the UK!!  They are getting ready to experience another double dip in a recession!!  The GOP is relying on Americans to be short on memory, ignorant, uninformed and full of fear!! --- They even try to diminish President Obama's very character by mocking his “Messiah” persona because he is pretty charismatic and engaging; I guess President Obama has some secret powers to bewitch people lol ---the assumption is that the public is not supposed to get too excited over him  lol  President Obama brings a positive energy with him when he is excited about going forward and the GOP is so jealous or twisted in the brain that they have to accuse him of using some unseen power to influence people lol hahaha---- This election year will be the most intense and hard fault campaign in history!! I hope President Obama continue to accentuate his positives, take the offensive approach and stay above the nastiness.

This video came out of Obama headquarters.

Team Obama in Chicago is probably the best most complete election team ever ... they are amazing. They're all fired up and ready to go.

"a 24 hour fixation by their staff on every Obama’s moves and comments. They are told to surf the web 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for any video, print or comments that are made by Obama on the web, Facebook or twitter, so they can supply an instant response within seconds."

Good for the RNC. I hope that Obama's team is just as vigilant and just as on task.

There is no question that his bunch is up and running at a MUCH better clip than they were in 2010 (thank heaven) -- maybe even better than 2008 since he is no longer a novelty with no record.

The idea of Biden going on Meet the Press getting caught off guard on gay marriage is pathetic, but much of what they have done in the last month has been great.

I really think Pres. Obama can stay positive and have an uplifting message but all Team Romney can really cling to will involve mud-slinging and baseless attacks. He'll have plenty of $ to attack the president but I just don't think it will work because Romney has no positive message of his own, certainly nothing forward-thinking. Even the Clinton ad was basically positive, the digs st Romney pretty subtle. With how the campaign season is starting off, I am feeling much more confident.

New Obama Ad Hits Romney On Swiss Bank Account

The Obama campaign is up with a new ad in Ohio, Virginia, and Iowa Tuesday that attacks Mitt Romney with a mention of the fact that the Romneys once had a Swiss bank account. The ad first touts President Obama’s energy plan, then attacks Romney’s record as someone who outsourced jobs. The Swiss Bank account jab comes at the end when the narrator says, “It’s just what you expect from a guy who had a Swiss bank account.”

Politico reported the details on the ad buys: “The Obama campaign has bought $458,883 in airtime so far in Ohio, $88,455 in Iowa and $72,845 in Virginia for ads running May 1 to May 7.”

Watch:

President Obama’s campaign website has released a new infographic highlighting Mitt Romney’s assets around the globe.

Mitt Romney has invested his money around the world, from the Cayman Islands to Ireland to Australia. We don’t know if he’s using these accounts to avoid paying his fair share in taxes, but we do know that in 2010, Romney’s tax rate was a startlingly low 13.9%. This means Romney pays a lower tax rate than many teachers, firefighters, police officers, and other middle-class Americans—even a lower rate than most other millionaires.

Who knew a Democrat could be this tough on his opponent? I am liking what I see and it is keeping Romney on defense, exactly where Team Obama wants him.

It's great information but the lead wording is clunky.  I had to click backwards to remember the title of the slide (The title says nothing, the subtitle is hard to remember),

How about

"Mitt Romney has more money in Luxembourg than you have in your local bank."

"Mitt Romney has enough money invested in Germany to create 500 jobs... FOR GERMAN WORKERS."

How about a little phrase-making that makes it easy, not hard, for your listeners/viewers/supporters to remember and convey the friggin message.

This is not  rocket science, unless of course you are a professional communicator working for the Democratic party, in which case it is particle physics and neonatological transplant surgery rolled into one.

The idea is not just to get the message to the voters, it is (for the umpteenth time),  to give your voters WORDS and STATEMENTS that they want to say to other people --  at work, at backyard barbecues, poker games, at those godawful political discussions at family reunions.  Go back and look at that slide... who is going to convey thew basic  message from this presentation based on the title and layout?

"They had this slide...  I don't remember the title... Romney around the world or something... it had lots of foreign countries...  maybe Switzerland was one, or Sweden... one of those. And they had these arrows with these signs showing where Romney's money was. It was a real eye opener."

Democratic messaging, rockin' the house as ever.

Wow !! I really like this article!! http://www.addictinginfo.org/2012/05/12/reagan-would-envy-obamas-economic-record/

I will agree that The Obama Team allows the "Right" to Highjack their messaging!! --- President Obama has a lot of positives on the economy but they have allowed the GOP to diminish and distort the facts or highlight the negatives to the degree that it appears that the economy is getting worse instead of better! lol---- We know the economy is recovering because of the consumer confidence ( increase in demand of productivity), housing market slowing with the massive foreclosures, the stock market has doubled since 2008, private sector jobs have increased, the unemployment rate has dropped, auto industry is at "Number One in the World"!! Why is the Obama administration allowing the Crooked Right wing to steal their thunder??? ---

The economy is not back at full stability yet so there is going to be some volatility in the economy but how can the Republicans be so persuasive as to convince a whole nation of people that as a whole, we are not in a better place??!!! This is Madness!!--- The Obama administration needs to take back the message of "Economic Recovery". The Obama administration has to find that delicate balance between being persuasive with their message but not ignoring the realities that people are still facing hard times. One of the buffers for convincing people to trust your judgment is thru compassion backed up with facts. President Obama cannot and should not be singing the same song as the deceptive GOP regarding the economy is still in "Bad Shape"! The Obama Team needs to Hire me so I can get the message out there RIGHT lol hahaha---- is my narcissistic behavior showing?? lol

As I read several blogs and articles from various political activists and leaders (right Wing), I hear the common theme that President Obama is a divisive figure.  One of the up and coming political figures is Marco Rubio, Who I believe is a Senator from Florida?? --He is making it his mission to define the President as some type of “polarizing Anti American figure”. Without directly stating that President Obama hates America, Rubio implies and insinuates that the President did not fulfill his “Unified” purpose which he promised during his campaign in 2008.

Somehow the right wing or RNC believes that if Rubio make comments about the President’s demeanor as being un-American, then it adds some credence because Rubio is a minority too. Again, the right wing, RNC, extreme conservatives, & tea Party, will stop at nothing to cast a negative perception of the President. They will use “any means necessary” to destroy the President. The Polarization is by virtue of the President’s very presence, not because he intends to divide America. However, he does want to level the Plainfield among the haves and have not’s in that he wants to narrow the income inequalities so that the middle class does not become extinct.

Over the course of several years there was evidence that the Middle class was shrinking and no one in the political arena were doing anything to stop it from happening.  The reason America has maintained its democracy is due to a strong middle class with a powerful voice.  As we have seen in the past, when the the middle class is diminished so does the voices of the American people weaken. We must realize how important a strong middle class is essential to our democracy as a nation. Having a strong middle class does not equal anti—rich; we should completely embrace wealth and financial success as we have always done, but it should not come at the expense of weakening the middle class!!

Each President has set out to transform America into a more modernized innovative Country;therefore, it is no different with President Obama. When President Obama talks about moving forward and bringing this Country into the 21st Century, someway the Republicans interpret it to mean that President Obama does not like America as it is. Again this is the perversion of the President’s words.  The President as a visionary leader sees an opportunity to forge this great Country as a pillar of the Globalized world!!  In order to lead, we have to engage the world and not use intimidation. I believe what the hard core Republicans, GOP and extreme conservatives are afraid of is that this President will do something that they have not been able to do and that is ( Lead) by true example and revolutionize this Country into a more cutting-edge heterogeneous Country where we will begin to see many cultures sit at the table and bring their gifts and talents to continue to build this great Nation. I hear that the polarization among the executive branch and the other branches of Government is about “Money”. I believe money is driving this extreme contentious fight but I also believe that “fear of the unknown” is an equal partner in this fight. Presidents in the past have always developed various policies; why is it so unbelievably antagonistic with this President?? Before he put his policies in place, the Republican Party was crafting out a scheme to destroy President Obama!!! We have to remember that Change does not necessarily mean abandoning core values; it means enhancing greatness into Excellence!!

I would like to cover several issues related to President Obama and Romney. For starters, I want to address the plot that the conservatives who are opponents of gay marriage are endeavoring to do. I read that some conservative opponents of gay marriage are developing a strategy to pit blacks and gays against each other due to the civil rights law that surrounds gay marriage rights!! As a result of President Obama’s decision and opinion about Gay marriage, the opponents are attempting to paint him as the most divisive person on Marriage. The opponents’ motives are to create tension among Gays and blacks and cause a divide in the Democratic base, which could affect the outcome of the vote.  Some of these extreme conservatives bask in stirring up confusion, tensions and fears!! -----

They are Masters of deception and Projections; they are crying very loud that the Democratic Party and President Obama are trying to distract from President Obama’s economic record by attacking Romney!! This isn’t true. It is possible for President Obama to tout his record and examine Romney’s record at the same time!---- I guess the antagonistic Republicans are unable to deal with multiple issues at the same time or they think that Romney’s record is so weak that it cannot hold up to scrutiny. Since the supposedly Liberal Democrats are trying to attack Romney’s record, then let’s see how the Republican leadership shores up Romney’s track record as Governor and Businessman!!

I was listening to some of the conservative talking heads and they were trying to say that Romney is capable of identifying with average Americans because he did not receive an inheritance from his father ( IDK?) lol  hahaha----- However, I don’t believe in general that wealth makes a person incapable of empathizing with human tragedy and poverty. I believe what makes us connect with other human beings are our philosophies and our human experience in life. Example --- Prince Diana was very compassionate towards the poor and the outcast. As much as I hate to admit it ( I despise Trump) !! ---Donald trump has raised well rounded kids who do not come across as selfish!!---- He did a great job of raising his kids to be appreciative of their wealth; John Huntsman is another individual who is wealthy and Mormon; he displayed a great deal of connection with the American people and he certainly did not come across as egotistical. Wealth is not an absolute immunity from compassion for the poor but it can be a barrier depending on the person. That being said, it is hilarious how the RNC is trying to beef Romney up as being a sympathizer of the poor NOT!!!

Another issue of concern is how the media both Liberal and conservative are constantly saying the economy has not improved or only improved marginally!!  I am just baffled how the Liberal media is buying this malarkey that the economy is still in horrible shape!! ---I know it has not fully recovered yet but my gosh!-- why are the liberal media singing the same sad song that the conservatives are singing about the economy???!! I see this chain reaction happening regarding the message about the economy!! Here  goes the vicious cycle--- The media says that the economy is slow in growth, the jobs numbers are still high at 8.3 or 8.1? They say Americans are hurting (which they are); so now add the polls to the equation. The questions in the polling’s are about the economy and are largely isolated to target who the American people blame for the economy!!  The questions never blame congress for not cooperating or collaborating with the President to achieve job growth but the questions are so skewed that it ask only do the American people blame Obama or they just simply ask what the top priorities are which the American people are concerned about the most and of course the economy is the most obvious among the other chooses.

The poller would put something very small in comparison to the economy like immigration ( I know immigration is a big issue but in comparison to the economy, most people are concerned with the economy). So now we see this vicious cycle of feeding doom and gloom to the American people when things are actually improving!!  People think that the so called experts are right; therefore, the American people are in panic mode and fear about the economy because of this vicious loop between the media and the skewed polls questions!!   ----- Now add the upcoming fight about the debt crisis, the Bush taxes expiration, along with the Affordable care Act, and Marriage rights. These are all hot button issues that will put stress and strain on the voters depending on how the media frames and pounces on the American people!!.

Since I am in the education sector, I frequently ask questions about how people feel about the election process and the candidates. Sadly, most of the young people say they refuse to listen to the media and they are tired of all the confusion; therefore, they are not inspired to participate in the process. I  get the impression that they are tuning out the noise but they  have some grasp on the political process; they realize the media is out to the distort the issues and they don’t want to be involved in all the craziness; however, at the end of the day, I believe they are going to get out and vote!!--- But they are not motivated to participate in the process!! ---I believe the American people don’t have faith that the so call political leaders are saying anything worthy of their attention.

I am utterly amazed at this election process!! ----If President Obama hits strong about Romney’s record, then he is accused of being negative by the left and right conjointly, but if he doesn’t respond to the attacks, then he is not getting his message out!!--- He can’t win for losing!! Lol----- I continually hear the pundits and talking heads on both sides criticizing the President for strongly opposing Romney’s position on jobs creation as it relates to his experience in the corporate world.  The truth of the matter is that it is not Romney’s inability to take his business experience and apply it to the economy, but it is his philosophy, ideology, Principle and creed which are in opposition to jobs creation.

The plans Romney has adopted (Paul Ryan’s Plan) is meant to eliminate important social programs, create austerity and push America back to the 1950’s on social progress. George W. Bush was Governor prior to becoming the President and look what happen???!! An economic collapse!! ---It was Bush’s philosophies that lead to this crisis. Also, I hear that President Obama is weak in attracting the average white blue collar worker; well that was a problem in 2008 as well.  This  issue is not going to change no time soon  because a great deal of people are fearful of a minority in leadership; it is going to take time for some people to adapt to the idea of a black President ( even if they are not “racist”). There are some Americans, “who are not hated filled in the sense of the word’, find it difficult to view a minority as their “President”. The notion that a minority is delegating to whites doesn’t fit well in some whites’ mindset.

Romney and no other Republican candidate even care to solicit the black votes!! I realize that African Americans are the minority and are small in number; therefore, the perception is that the black vote is irrelevant to them. On the other hand, the view is that the Hispanic vote is important and we see the candidates pandering for the Hispanic vote.  In reality, there are a lot of conservative African Americans and the Republicans have to be willing to offer that population something that will benefit the community; such as, they have to be willing to improve schools, crimes, drugs and many other economic and social factors;  people have to see tangible differences  in the social ills that plague the community. But what do we see?? A complete avoidance of the Republican candidate to seek the black votes. I do realize that the vast majority of African Americans vote Democratic but the Republicans can start cracking that ceiling by offering ideas that will profit the community!! ---Barack Obama is the first Minority President, so African Americans have been voting for the Democratic machine because it is the Party that favored their needs in the community.

Unfortunately, President Barack Obama has lost close to 3% of the black votes because the perception is that he is not addressing the needs of the black community.  Each time the subject comes up about him not addressing the needs of the black community, it is countered with “he is the President of all Americans and not a special few”. However, when it comes to the needs of Gay rights, Hispanic and immigration, Women’s’ rights, and pandering to the Jewish community all is fair!!--- I am sure behind the scenes he is trying to address some of the concerns of the minority community, but he just can’t openly express his plans for the minority community because it is not popular. He has addressed more issues on gay rights than he has done in the African American community. BUT!!!! ---I don’t want this topic to be about Gay rights issues verses Black issues because it is not!! ---I am sure the extreme conservatives would love to feed into this type of controversial subject. Hopefully, if he is re—elected, more African Americans will see a tangible difference in his policies that support the African American communities!!  I believe some of the misperception in the black community is due to the fact that some in the black community don’t do the research to see what policies he has implemented to benefit the minority community; there is a tendency to rely on black activist, pundits and talking heads.

You and I are starting to have serious agreements -- one of us should probably be worried.  :-). Seriously, though, the Booker and Randell public criticisms of Obama's attack ad on Romney at Bain are pure sabotage -- or stupidity -- or cowardace -- or all of the above.  And if he has lost a single black vote to this GOP -- apart from the black votes that will be blocked by GOP "voter fraud" state laws -- that is pure crazy.

Worried?? lol hahahaha --you mean we actually have the meeting of the minds??  lol MOA a Democrat and you a Republican?? YES! progress has begin on both sides of the aisle! lol-- I wish those in WAshington would start moving pass Obstructionism! ughhh!

I was viewing this video from last year with Donald Trump ( when he was trying to solicit for a run for presidency lol)--- He actually commented that Republicans were not doing a good job on compromising!! can you believe that??  look at the video and Donald Trump makes his comment around 5 mins into the video!!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuLq7qhFX94&feature=relmfu

This shows that even an egotistical chauvinstic maniac like him has noticed that the Republicans have went completely bonkers!! lol
