Well, all of our work is almost complete. The big day has arrived. Over the years, as we have faced close elections, we have all grumbled at the unfairness of the electoral college, and how it should just be a majority vote.

In an effort to focus more on issues, I wanted to take the opportunity to take a look at the stances of both candidates and how they support/or don't support Rural Issues and voters.

Over the last few months, I have been pondering what will become of the Republican Party that we once all supported.

Well, as we all know, last night was Barack Obama's much anticipated speech. Watching history being made was very powerful personally.

With the current situation across the globe, veterans issues are no longer ignored as they have been for years. As a former Marine, support for veterans is very important to me.

I grew up in northern Indiana, and pretty much grew up around my grandparents' farm.
